The 2020 Jeep Wrangler is the standout SUV. It stands out because it includes four-wheel drive standard on all models. It stands out because it has a diesel powerplant option, and it stands out because it has a unique design unmatched by any other SUV.
So it’s unique, but how unique? Did you know that every Wrangler has a removable roof, removable doors, and a fold flat-front windshield? These are features that other models don’t even think about, but the Wrangler almost holds them sacred as part of its identity.
In the powerplant department, you have a total of four options. These include a 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque as well as a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel with 260 horsepower and an impressive 442 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, you have two 2.0-liter turbo options, one with eTorque and one without. Both are rated at 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
Speaking of options, the Wrangler comes with a lot. You have the Sport, Willys Sport, Sport S, Black and Tan, Sport Altitude, Willy, Freedom, Sahara, Rubicon, Sahara Altitude, North Edition, and Rubicon Recon. That is a mouth full for sure. All of these trims are available with the four-door configuration, but adventurers may want to consider the two-door version as well for an even tighter wheelbase.
